I am a consultant cardiologist at West Herts NHS Trust. I was recently Associate Medical Director for Quality and Innovation and Clinical Lead for Virtual Wards, and am now Divisional Director for Medicine. I also chair the Clinical Advisory Group for Virtual Wards in the East of England region for NHS England. I am passionate about virtual care delivery. In my role as CAG chair I have visited all the virtual wards in the East region and written a guidance and standards document that has been adopted regionally. I also sit on the NHS England National Steering Group for Virtual Wards.
